Lost Winds (LW) is the local Amtgard chapter of Bloomington, Illinois. Amtgard is an international live-action roleplay group focused on Battle Gaming with the support of a large artistic community. We are part of the Principality of 13 Roads and the Kingdom known as Tal Dagore. We are a welcoming group, and there is no charge associated with joining, we often have spare gear for newer players and are willing to teach those willing to learn. A newish Amtgard park opening in the Boston area. We meet near the South Boston Sports Collective in Joe Moakley Park from 12 to 3 on Sundays and sometimes go out for food or drinks afterward depending on the exhaustion level. The park is huge so we roam a bit look for garb and foam.
By T take the redline to JFK stop and cross over to Joe Moakly park and walk a few blocks to the sports center. Nice neighborhood, very close to JFK library. For drivers there is plenty of parking you just might have to walk around the park a bit.
We meet in Albuquerque, NM at Taylor Park, on the corner of Indian School and Pennsylvania. We meet on Saturdays at 12:30.

The Tyrant’s Thorn is a new Amtgard freehold founded from the ashes of the great plague. Our founding members are LARP veterans who look to grow a community in the Richmond, KY area. Shrouding Mist has existed since 1996 when it was originally sponsored as a land under the Celestial Kingdom. It was under Blackspire during Northern Lights’ time as a principality under them. Now here we are many years later and Shrouding Mist, now a Duchy, is one of the more centralized lands within the Kingdom of the Northern Lights, pulling an average weekly attendance of between 20 and 40 players. This land houses a strong skill set in many facets of the game, including high-intensity ditching and melee fighting, well balanced, exciting scenario battlegames through a richly wooded park riddled with a maze of trails and clearings for combat, as well as a very well reputed Arts and Sciences core that produces some of the best projects within our Kingdom.
