We are a Barony in the game of Amtgard. We are highly active in every area of Amtgard every Saturday. RP, Combat, Battle Games and even stuff for non combatants.

Dragonhold is a Shire of Neverwinter in the LARP known as Amtgard. Amtgard is combat fantasy LARP (Live Action Role Playing) located in South Carolina around the Beaufort and Bluffton area.

Amtgard is a world-wide organization dedicated to medieval and fantasy combat sports and recreation. We use padded weapons, fantasy and authentic clothing, and imagination to immerse players in a world of heroic combat, quests, crafts, and more.

No matter if your interest is competitive sports fighting, finding an outlet for your creative talents, or honing your leadership skills, Amtgard has something to offer you!

What is Amtgard?
Amtgard is a swords and sorcery styled medieval combat, culture, and sciences organization. Amtgard was founded in El Paso, Texas in 1983 and has since spread throughout North America and the rest of the world. With over ten thousand active members representing a diverse swath of humanity it’s safe to say there is something for everybody in Amtgard. Whether you’re a teenager in high school or an established adult you will be able to find an inviting peer group that is excited to welcome you to the game.

What Can Amtgard Offer Me?
Amtgard is an excellent way to encourage interest in medieval
combat, arts, and sciences. It’s also a fun and exciting way to
get exercise while meeting new people. Here are some of the
common activities Amtgardians engage in;

The Emerald Glades is an Amtgard chapter based in Medina, OH. We meet Saturdays at 1:00 PM at Memorial Park (also known as Jump Park) in the field between the parking lot and pool.

Amtgard is free to play, we have plenty of loaner equipment, and are always welcoming to new players.

Cinderfel meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday at Noon in Olive Branch City Park. We are usually in the big pavilion (first pavilion you see when entering off of Goodman Road) but we have played across most of the park! If you can’t find us, check the Discord. We have a good mix of casters and stick jocks and absolutely love explaining things to new players. We prefer to be contacted on Discord or Facebook.

Thorn Mountain is an Amtgard park in Alpine, Texas, and we are currently meeting every Saturday at 12:00 at Kokernot park.

We have all the equipment you might need, so come on down and we’ll swing some foam together!
